01 / EU DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
A declaration generated by the plugin, following the model structure of Annex VIII (fictional sample data).

The declaration follows Annex VIII and the technical documentation follows Annex VII, in both languages, using the regulation's own terms.

What Pro adds
Dossiers for every packaging type instead of one: numbered, dated revisions, and a ZIP with the EU declaration of conformity and technical documentation in English and German, every evidence file and SHA-256 checksums. Email reminders before supplier declarations are due for review and again when overdue, with recipients and lead time you choose. Bulk linking of SKUs pasted from a spreadsheet, and a list of the products in your catalog that are not linked to any packaging yet.
What it doesn't do
It does not decide which requirements apply to your packaging, interpret test results, certify anything or replace legal advice. It does not handle packaging registration or licensing fees (extended producer responsibility, for example LUCID in Germany), produce signed PDFs or guarantee email delivery. Your own entries are not translated.
Before you start
WordPress 6.8+, PHP 8.1+ with the zip extension, WooCommerce, and the free PPWR Dossier plugin 1.0.1 or later, active. A working email setup (for example an SMTP plugin) for reminders.
Setup
How to set it up
- Install WooCommerce and the free PPWR Dossier plugin from WordPress.org, and activate both.
- Upload the Pro ZIP from your purchase under Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin and activate it.
- Open WooCommerce > PPWR dossiers and follow the Start here checklist: company details, packaging types, products, requirements and evidence.
- Under Settings, choose who receives supplier review reminders and send a test email.
- Freeze a revision for each packaging type, download the dossier, check it, and print and sign the declaration.
A tool, not legal advice or certification: you decide which requirements apply and you sign the declaration. Some PPWR dates depend on EU acts not adopted yet. Reminders depend on WordPress scheduled tasks and your mail setup. Have the declaration translated if a Member State requires a language other than English or German.
