01 / RIGHTS REQUEST
An erasure request confirmed by the customer's email link, with its due date, matching orders and the erasure log (fictional shop).
Rights requests
Access, correction, erasure, nomination and grievance requests from your "Your data rights" page, confirmed by the customer's account or an email link, each with a reference number and a due date.
Exports and erasure
A CSV and PDF summary from the WordPress and WooCommerce exporters plus your purposes and the businesses you share data with, a 7-day download link for the customer, and logged WooCommerce erasure with a one-year retention warning.
Hindi notice
The notice, consent checkboxes and default data items in Hindi with a language switcher next to the notice. Consent is recorded with the language and the Hindi notice version.
Reports and retention
Consents per purpose and notice version, CSV exports of the consent log and requests, a daily digest of due requests, and erasure notices at least 48 hours ahead for inactive customers.

What Pro adds
Adds a request form, deadlines, exports, erasure and Hindi to the free notice and consent log.
What it doesn't do
No legal advice or compliance certification, no verifiable parental consent for children, no breach reporting, no Consent Manager integration and no translations beyond Hindi. The Hindi text has not yet been reviewed by a native speaker. PDF exports use a Latin font; the CSV keeps every script.
Before you start
WordPress 6.8+, PHP 8.1+, WooCommerce and the free DPDP Notice and Consent for WooCommerce 1.0.0+, active, with a published notice. A working email setup (for example an SMTP plugin).
Setup
How to set it up
- Install WooCommerce and the free DPDP Notice and Consent for WooCommerce plugin from WordPress.org, review the proposed notice and publish it.
- Upload the Pro ZIP under Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin and activate it.
- Under WooCommerce > DPDP Notice > Pro settings, list the businesses you share personal data with and choose your retention review period.
- On a staging site, submit a test request on the "Your data rights" page while logged out, confirm it from the email, and process it.
- Have the Hindi text and your notice reviewed by a native speaker and your lawyer before relying on them. To update, upload the new ZIP the same way.
This is a tool, not legal advice or a guarantee of compliance with the DPDP Act 2023 or the DPDP Rules 2025: you decide how to answer each request and which data a law requires you to keep. Tested with WordPress 7.1.4 and WooCommerce 11.2.1 on PHP 8.1, 8.3 and 8.4 with fictional data. Email accepted by your server is not proof of delivery.
