Malaysian e-invoices to MyInvois, straight from your WooCommerce shop.
Since 1 January 2026, Malaysian businesses with annual turnover up to RM5 million issue e-invoices through MyInvois, the system of the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN), unless they are exempt. A buyer can ask for their own e-invoice; the sales where nobody asks go into one consolidated e-invoice per month, due within 7 days after the month ends. Our tools let your WooCommerce shop submit both itself, with your own MyInvois credentials.
LHDN (also called HASiL) brings businesses into e-invoicing (e-Invois) in phases. Businesses with annual turnover up to RM5 million started on 1 January 2026, and businesses that began in 2023 to 2025 with at least RM3 million on 1 July 2026. Businesses below RM3 million are exempt, subject to the exceptions in LHDN's e-Invoice Guideline (for example where certain shareholders, parent or related companies are at or above RM3 million). Whether and from when it applies to you is a question for you and your tax adviser.
The seller issues the e-invoice. It is submitted to MyInvois, which validates it, and the buyer receives the validated e-invoice or a visual version with a QR code. A business may submit its own documents from its own system with its own client ID and secret ("Login as Taxpayer System" in LHDN's MyInvois SDK), without an intermediary.
Sales to buyers who don't need an e-invoice, usually consumers, can be combined into one consolidated e-invoice per month, submitted within seven calendar days after the month ends (Specific Guideline, section 3.6.2). Some transactions may not be consolidated: from 1 January 2026, any single transaction above RM10,000, and transactions in certain industries (section 3.7).
For businesses in the up-to-RM5 million phase, an interim relaxation runs until 31 December 2027 (Specific Guideline, section 16). Among other things, it allows a consolidated e-invoice for all transactions, including those for which a buyer asked for an e-invoice. It eases how e-invoices are issued; it does not remove the duty to issue them.
MyInvois accepts documents in version 1.0, without a digital signature, until LHDN announces the retirement of version 1.0; LHDN recommends the signed version 1.1 (MyInvois SDK FAQ).
The official text: Garis Panduan Spesifik e-Invois v4.9, section 3.6.2 (p. 19) Our translation: "The seller may consolidate, each month, the transactions with buyers who do not require an e-invoice and submit the consolidated e-invoice to LHDN within seven (7) calendar days after the end of that month."

MyInvois Pro is sold here as an add-on to our free MyInvois e-Invoice for WooCommerce plugin. Neither is available yet: both are built and tested against a local mock of the documented MyInvois API, and are waiting for a tax review, a test in LHDN's MyInvois sandbox and the free plugin's WordPress.org submission. The Pro add-on is not on sale. Use Notify me and we will email you when they are.

What it doesn't do
Sign documents: it submits unsigned version 1.0, which MyInvois currently accepts. Signed version 1.1 is planned.
Handle self-billed e-invoices, marketplace cases, exports, currencies other than MYR or more than one business per site.
Carry any approval, certification or endorsement from LHDN. It is not made by LHDN.
Decide whether e-invoicing applies to you, which tax types and codes apply, whether your industry may consolidate or whether the interim relaxation covers you: you and your tax adviser do.
