German cancellation button / Demo
Try the cancellation flow yourself
This is what your customers get with the cancellation button: one click in the footer, one page with the statutory details, "jetzt kündigen", done. No login, no retention offers.
Demo: a made-up shop. What you type stays in this browser tab; nothing is stored or sent.
Click the link in the footer, like a customer would.

Subject: Confirmation of your cancellation
Hello {name},
we received your cancellation on {datetime}.
Contract: {contract}
Type: {kind}
Ends: {when}
You receive this confirmation in text form under § 312k(4) BGB.
What happens here, and why
- The button "Verträge hier kündigen" sits in the footer of every page and works without logging in (§ 312k(2) BGB).
- The confirmation page asks only for what the law lists: the type of cancellation (with the reason if extraordinary), details to identify the customer, the contract, the date and where the confirmation should go.
- No retention offers: since the Federal Court of Justice ruling of 16 July 2026 (I ZR 200/25), "pause instead?" offers and discounts don't belong on this page.
- Instant confirmation with the date and time of receipt, on screen to save and by email (§ 312k(3) and (4) BGB).
