Sidecar's compliance registry as a free MCP server. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and any other MCP client can ask which laws apply to a shop, what they require by when, and which add-on implements them, with the official sources and the date we last verified them.

The three tools
list_laws
The laws and deadlines we cover, filtered by platform (WooCommerce, Shopify, Wix, …) or country (DE, EU, SA, HR, US, IN, MY).
law_details
One law in full: the obligations, dates and thresholds with quotes from the official sources and their verification status, plus the add-ons per platform with price and status.
check_law
Our free “does this apply to me?” check, one question at a time, ending in “likely yes”, “likely no” or “ask your adviser”, with what you need and the sources.
Things to ask
- “Does my Shopify subscription shop in Germany need the Kündigungsbutton? Walk me through the check.”
- “When is the ZATCA Wave 25 deadline and who is in it? Cite the source.”
- “Which laws with a date in the next 6 months affect a WooCommerce shop selling in the EU?”
- “What exactly must the confirmation email contain under § 312k BGB?”
What it answers from
Our compliance registry: for each law, the obligations, dates and thresholds as quoted from the official source, each marked verified or unverified, with the date we last re-read the source. A decisive check result rests only on verified facts; anything else ends in “ask your adviser”. Every answer names its sources and the add-on that implements the requirement.
